Ramadan
The night we were in Istanbul it was the 4th day of Ramadan. Muslims who practiced Ramadan have to fast during the day and eat only after sunset. We walked some of the streets downtown that were full of people. There were many food vendors that sold food like we would see at fairs (cotton candy, grilled corn on the cob, shish kabobs on a stick, candy apples).
