Barren parts of Turkey. Ang wanted this picture because the St. Paul Trail guide book mentions turning near THE tree. Ang thought this was really funny because in Arkansas there so many trees you wouldn’t know which tree to turn by, and what if the tree was cut down. She also remembered her dad’s story having directions to turn by a red barn when there were several red barns to turn by. However in this case the book could talk about turning by THE tree.
